1. Acceptance of Terms

Registering and every transaction you make are subject to these rules. The company, referred to in its own terms as racetan.COM, can amend them at any time and without telling you first, so a periodic re-read is wise. Data handling is covered separately in the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

Customers must be 21 or over, not 18. Age can be verified on application and documents requested at any time, with the account suspended until the matter is clear. Customers from the USA, France, the Netherlands and the Dutch Caribbean islands are not accepted, and access from other territories can be restricted at any time. The company may also refuse to open an account, or close one without giving a reason, returning the balance after payout costs.

3. Your Account

• One deposit account per customer, with details kept accurate and up to date.
• Your username, password and security answers are yours to protect. Bets placed with them count as yours.
• You must not act for someone else, deposit money from crime, or use a card you have no right to use.

4. Deposits and Withdrawals

Minimum deposits: 35 GBP by credit or debit card, 35 GBP by Moneybookers wallet, 50 GBP by bank transfer. Daily maximums: 3000 GBP by card, 10000 GBP by Moneybookers or bank transfer, or the equivalent in other currencies. You choose the account currency at sign-up and it is fixed once the first deposit lands. No interest is paid on balances. A withdrawal is only possible after you have wagered an amount equal to your deposit, and bets at odds under 1.20 do not count toward it. Payouts go to your bank account or Moneybookers.

5. Bonuses and Promotions

The rulebook sets no fixed welcome offer. Where a promotion runs, it carries its own conditions and those are the ones that bind you. What is described on the Promotions page is how such offers usually work, not a guarantee that any of them is live today.

6. Betting and Game Rules

The minimum bet is 0.50 EUR or 0.50 USD. Stakes above 100 EUR or 100 USD may be refused unless requested by phone and authorised by email, with a code issued for each one. Credit bets are not accepted, bets are taken online only, and they are accepted until the event starts or, in play, until the market is closed. Odds shown are for information: only the odds at the moment of acceptance count, and clear transcription errors can be voided even after the event. Related picks in one multiple are not accepted. Bets are tax free, and all times shown are UK time.

7. Responsible Gaming

Limits on wagers, deposits, losses and playing time can be set through customer support, and an account can be suspended temporarily or for good on request. The Responsible Gambling page explains how.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Bets from customers acting in collusion or as a syndicate can be voided, as can repeated bets placed to slip past stake or payout ceilings. Where there is evidence of fixing or of inside information on an event, winnings can be frozen or withheld.

9. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided as it stands. The operator says it cannot track the law in every country, that it is your job to know the rules where you live, and that it takes no responsibility for gambling in places where it is illegal. Disputes over how a bet was settled go to the IBAS arbitration route described in its rules.

10. Changes to These Terms

These rules can be changed at any time without prior notice, and continuing to use the service means accepting whatever version is current.
